Students analyze the content of selected Czech, Polish and Slovak textbooks. Students watch mainly how men and women are depicted in selected samples, while other discussion questions are opened. In an exercise called “Introductory Text,” students first read the introductory motivational text to one of the chapters in the civics textbook. Subsequently, they write their own text into the blank fields so that it is attractive and motivational enough for girls as well. Selected activities support the ability to think analytically. At the same time, students will learn the basic principles of the gender analysis method of textbooks.
